KINGS PHARMACY
offers special services for
people with DIABETES

People living with diabetes can lead long, healthy lives, when their medications are managed properly. The pharmacists at Kings have specialized training in diabetes management and years of experience working closely with diabetics. Our pharmacists are trained to recognize interactions between your medications, both prescription and non-prescription.

Always talk with your Kings Pharmacist when selecting a non-prescription medication to make sure it will not interact with your other medications or your diabetes. The Diabetes Specialists at Kings are very knowledgeable about new medications and treatments for diabetes and will find ways to improve your care and lifestyle. Together we can choose medications that work well together to keep you on your feet.

If your diabetes is well controlled, you can avoid complications such as:
- Heart Attack
- Stroke
- Peripheral Vascular Disease
- Neuropathy (nerve problems)
- Retinopathy (eye problems that can lead to blindness)
- Nephropathy (kidney problems)

Our pharmacists are trained to recognize such interactions, and to work as a team with you and your physician. Our pharmacists keep an ear open for new treatments for diabetes, and seek out ways to improve your care. Together we can choose medications that work well together, and keep you on your feet.

If you have Diabetes ask about the Kings Pharmacy I.D.E.A. PROGRAM (Individual Diabetes Education and Awareness).
