Ron Del Gaudio, RPh

President, CEO
Ron Del Gaudio is widely known and respected for his proactive and innovative support of the patients served by the four locations that that comprise Kings Pharmacy. After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, he attended Long Island University's College of Pharmacy (LIU Pharmacy). Ron joined the independent drugstore chain, Kings Pharmacy, and went through the ranks to eventually become the company's president and owner. With his wavering commitment to superb professional support and outstanding technical expertise for his patients, Ron's leadership and focus on teamwork earned Kings Pharmacy the Health Mart Diabetes Care Excellence Award. Ron earned this honor because of his commitment for going above and beyond the call of duty to provide exemplary education for patients in need. There are many examples of Ron's devotion to offering superior health care. The team's success with infertility, Hepatitis C, Transplant, HIV. Through his leadership, Kings Pharmacy has become a highly regarded specialty pharmacy throughout the NY regional area and has expanded its practice nationwide. Kings Pharmacy has developed an extensive compounding specialty, as well. The skilled pharmacists at Kings’ work closely with physicians to customize prescriptions. This service enables more effective treatment and preventive care with a broad range of health-related conditions. Ron's outstanding achievements have been acknowledged often over the years. Examples of his achievements include receiving honors from the National Federation of Italian-American Societies, the Italian Pharmacist Society and by J.D. Power and Associates for outstanding customer satisfaction. Ron and his team are known for living up to their motto: "the pharmacy that cares for you." In addition to his professional obligations, Ron devotes considerable personal time to a variety of health-related causes. He is a longtime board member and the current president of the Brooklyn-Queens chapter of the JDRF. He serves on the board of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (PSSNY), and he also serves as President of the New York City Pharmacists Society (NYCPS).

Dmitry Vagman, RPh

Vice President, Supervising Pharmacist
Dmitry graduated from Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in 1996. He has 15 years of retail pharmacy experience. His specialties include all aspects of sterile and non-sterile compounding, oncology and USP 797 implementation. For the past 6 years, he has been responsible for IV admixture services, preparation of chemotherapeutic agents, and human/ veterinary compounding at Kings Pharmacy. He is a preceptor of students from Long Island University and our community pharmacy residents.

Gennady Levin, RPh

Vice President, Pharmacist
Gennady Levin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in 1998. His specialties include transplant, IVF, sterile and non-sterile compounding, maintenance of USP 797 guidelines, chemotherapy admixtures and TPNs. He has more than 15 years of experience working in a community pharmacy.

Leonard Chiarello

Director of Pharmacy Operations
Mr. Chiarello was educated at Long Island University's Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and has been a member of the Kings family for over 30 years. In his current role as Director of Pharmacy Operations, he manages the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including all specialty divisions, such as, Transplant, IVF, Dialysis, HIV, and Hepatitis C. Lenny is an expert at all third party billings and has extensive knowledge of all insurance companies, including private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare. His accreditations include PCCA Compounding Techniques, NIPCO accredited Arthritis Care, and NIPCO accredited Community Aging, Assisted Living and Long-Term Care.

Rebecca Massachi, Pharm.D

Pharm.D
Rebecca Massachi graduated with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University in May of 2014. She completed her PGY-1 in community pharmacy practice at Kings Pharmacy, where she was responsible for developing patient care programs, counseling patients on disease state management and medication use, administering immunizations, and facilitating lectures at Long Island University's Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. As part of the patient care programs that Rebecca developed and managed, she worked with physicians and other health-care professionals at numerous clinics throughout New York City to facilitate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Currently, Rebecca acts as the director of Specialty Services, where she is responsible for managing fertility, hepatitis C, transplant, and hemophilia services throughout the Pharmacy.

Brooke Fidler, Pharm.D

Residency Program Director
Dr. Fidler has been the Assistant Professor at LIU Pharmacy, Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences since 2000. She completed her Pharm.D at the University of Rhode Island in 1999, and continued there as a pharmacy resident with a focus in community drug information and outpatient care. From 2001 to 2004 she was the residency director and coordinator of the first community pharmacy practice residency program in the New York Metropolitan area. Dr. Fidler has written for numerous publications including Drug Store News, P&T Journal and Journal of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a regular speaker for online continuing education programs with a focus on community pharmacy related topics. At Kings’, Dr. Fidler precepts LIU pharmacy students and is the residency director for the PGY-1 community residency program. Her specialties are in women's health, nonprescription products and smoking cessation.

Edward Giacoia, RPh

Pharmacist
Eddie graduated from St John's University in 1993. He has extensive experience in hospital pharmacy, home infusion, and oncology. He also has experience in Long Term Care, including providing chronic care pharmacy at nursing homes and in rehab facilities. He has practiced pharmacy in Florida, New York and New Jersey. His specialties include IV compounding and oncology pharmacy.

Kelly McBride

IVF Coordinator
Kelly became a Certified Pharmacy Technician through Dowling College, with NHA and PTCB certifications. In addition, she has her associate’s degree in business administration. She has prior diabetes management care experience as well as knowledge in oncology and hematology. She is now the fertility coordinator and manages all fertility patients that come through Kings Pharmacy.

Kieva Appleton

Hepatitis C Coordinator
Kieva is currently studying at Brooklyn College to obtain her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She started out at Kings Pharmacy as a cashier, but her drive for patient care allowed her to transfer to the pharmacy as a technician. She is now one of the Hepatitis C Coordinators at Kings Pharmacy and works collaboratively with physicians and nurses to make sure our patients are getting the best possible care. She also works directly with managed care, and private and commercial insurance companies to help streamline benefits of reimbursement to the pharmacy and patients. She assists patients in accessing need-based grants and federal funding for their medical needs if they are unable to afford their medications. She hopes to pursue a Nurse Practioner Master’s Degree Program post-graduation.

Marta Giammarino, RPh

Sales Representative
Marta graduated from St. John's University with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy. After graduation she worked for Merck for 3 years as a professional sales representative. She then started working in specialty pharmacies where she oversaw HIV, geriatric and transplant patients. As a staff pharmacist, she wanted to increase patient education, especially in diabetes and asthma and hepatitis C. Now she is one of our sales representatives for Hepatitis C and works closely with physicians and patients to make sure they are getting the best care possible.
